NUCLEO’s artists work with diverse contemporary themes, and each work brings its own subjectivity and open poetics: Luciana Magno integrates the body with nature; Bárbara Paz shows a world in suspension; Helena Martins Costa takes the public into an image-space of risk; Márcia Beatriz brings the irresistible character Jaque Jolene; Heleno Bernardi works with the idea of deconstruction; Andrey Zignnatto uses graphic marks to transform part of the landscape; Pedro David makes remnants of memories flicker in the crackling of fire, and Lucila Meirelles produces work that bear the idea of limit situation.
