Believing in the power of video as a means of research and expression and its relevance in the current context, the Video Art Group has established a permanent project at the Janaina Torres Gallery, with a programme that includes meetings, research, exhibitions and interaction with the public. Open to artists, researchers and collectors, the project is conceived as a space for exhibiting, discussing and disseminating the vigour and plurality of contemporary Brazilian video art production.
+ moreAs a result of the successful experience of VideoArtePapo, a series of lives on video art promoted in 2020 by the gallery and Márcia Beatriz Granero on Instagram, which became a permanent programme at the São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound, and the group exhibition Núcleo in 2021, the project has been consolidated. Based on the initial selection, the Video Art GROUP intends to invite other artists and researchers for future projects.
